2016 Melbourne Neuroscience Institute Seed Funding
Olivia Carter, Jason Forte and Patrick Goodbourn have been awarded two of the eight interdisciplinary seed funding grants awarded by the Melbourne Neuroscience Institute from a highly competitive field of 27 applications. The grants support interdisciplinary projects that show significant potential for future nationally competitive funding and that link up academic staff from different fields.
Olivia and Jason's project (with Dean Freestone and Andrew Zalesky) is "Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) – Is it the perfect placebo?".
Patrick's project (with Patricia Jusuf, Bang Bui and Mirana Ramialison) is "A comprehensive, multi-level zebrafish assay to provide mechanistic insight into genetic associates of human behaviour".
These grants continue a tradition of positive recognition and support of researchers from the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences and our excellent colleagues from the Melbourne Neuroscience Institute.
