Associate Professor Christina Bryant to serve as the next Director of the MSPS Clinical Psychology Program
The School is delighted to announce that Associate Professor Christina Bryant will be the next Director of the MSPS Clinical Psychology Program. Christina will assume this key role upon the retirement of Associate Professor Carol Hulbert in late February 2017.
Christina is well known to us in the School, having held a joint position between MSPS and the Centre for Women’s Mental Health at the Royal Women’s Hospital since 2008, after receiving her PhD in 2006 under the supervision of Professors Henry Jackson and David Ames. She is a very experienced clinician and educator, who has also established a strong reputation as a researcher in the mental health of older adults and in health psychology.
Christina’s appointment ensures the continuity of our leading clinical psychology training program. She knows the program intimately, having served as Deputy Director for the past year and having led the joint program with the National University of Singapore. We very much look forward to having Christina with us on a full-time basis, and seeing her take clinical psychology energetically forward at the University alongside our recently arrived clinical chair, Professor Kim Felmingham.
