2016 ARC Grant and Fellowship Winners
The School has made a strong showing in the 2016 ARC Grants and Fellowships round announced today (1st November), winning four Discovery Projects and one Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) with a combined value of just over $2 million. Successful applicants are:
- Dr Adam Osth, for a DECRA project on measuring interference from prior memories using experience sampling
- Dr Katherine Johnson, for a Discovery Project with Kim Cornish at Monash University on the relationship between childhood inattention and cognitive skills
- Dr Christian Nicholas, Dr Amy Jordan & Professor John Trinder, for a Discovery Project on motor control of the upper airway muscle genioglossus
- Professor Sarah Wilson, for a Discovery Project with Gary McPherson, Sam Berkovic & Isabelle Peretz on the genetics of singing ability
- Professor Nick Haslam, for a Discovery Project on the social implications of expanding concepts of harm
