Call for study participants: psychologists and provisional psychologists required our study

We are looking to hire psychologists/provisional psychologists for our study: A Phase II Randomised Controlled Trial of An Early Tailored Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Based Intervention for Depression in Those Newly Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis

An exciting opportunity currently exists for psychologists to be a part of a grant-funded multicentre randomised controlled trial being conducted at the University of Melbourne. Psychologists/Provisional Psychologists will be hired on a casual basis to either provide psychological assessment or the 8-week individual treatment to individuals with Multiple Sclerosis who are also experiencing co-morbid depression. The psychological treatment for the trial includes a specialised manualised cognitive behavioural therapy program and a supportive listening program. Psychologists will be provided training to conduct both of these therapies, and provided clinical supervision by Dr Litza Kiropoulos. Some travel may be required for the psychologist hired for the assessment position. Psychologists will be paid for providing the intervention and assessment sessions.

Registration as a provisional psychologist with AHPRA, at a minimum. Completed a Clinical Psychology Masters or PhD, or in the final year of completing one of these degrees.
