Job position: Casual Research Assistant

The Department of Medical Education has won a Learning and Teaching grant to conduct research investigating the Anticipation of Clinical Challenges Among Medical Students. Approximately 24 final year medical students have been interviewed and 24 first year medical students will be interviewed in February 2017.  Each interview is approximately one hour long.

We are looking for someone with a background in qualitative data analysis to undertake approximately 60 hours Research Assistant work to thematically  analyse the interview transcripts. The start day could be as soon as possible and the end date can be negotiated, depending on  the availability of the Research Assistant - the work could be undertaken intensely for a few weeks or spread out over a few months.

The rate of pay will be RA1 or RA2, depending on experience and qualifications.
