Congratulations to Dr Michelle Jongenelis!

Dr Michelle Jongenelis has been recognised for her advocacy on issues related to education, prevention, and health promotion across a broad range of areas impacting on public health.

Dr Michelle Jongenelis, Director of Centre Operations at the Melbourne Centre for Behaviour Change, has been recognised for her contributions to public health with two awards from the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA):

- The 2021 Emerging Leader Award acknowledges an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership through outstanding service to PHAA and public health in Australia;
- The 2021 Health Promotion SIG’s Early Career Award acknowledges an outstanding PHAA member who has contributed significantly to the advancement of health promotion.
