Music, emotion, and cognition
We are currently recruiting participants for this study. Click here for more details about how to get involved.
This project aims to determine the relationship between common executive functioning abilities (inhibitory control, working memory updating, and cognitive flexibility) and the flexibility of emotions and their controlled expression. While most research into these links focus on dysfunction, this project will approach this relationship through the lens of music training in healthy individuals, to aid in mapping out the full picture of individual cognitive functioning.
