"This is your life" Seminar Series - Charles Kemp: 'Trying to understand people by staring at a computer screen'
The first CHDH "This is your life" talk is presented by our very own Charles Kemp, and it is titled "Trying to understand people by staring at a computer screen"
When: Monday April 19th, 12pm-1pm
Where (On Campus): Physics South-L105 (Hercus Theatre), University of Melbourne
There is also an online option for people who cannot be there physically:
Meeting ID: 85686258590, Password: 180851
(We ask that people do not post the zoom link directly to Twitter to prevent unwanted disruptive guests from finding the link).
This is the first event in a series in which speakers tell their life and career stories.
The theme is Who we are, and the talks will be a combo of research and personal, with each speaker telling their life and career journeys: what research questions fascinate them, how they started out, what bumps in the road they hit and what experiences shaped them and made them who they are (including doubts, failures, and detours they may have faced). We hope you'll turn in as we are very excited about it!
