After studying psychology and cognitive neurosciences in Germany and the UK, I escaped Europe and moved to Melbourne to do my PhD in social psychology here. My main research interests are the influence of positive emotions such as awe and elevation on moral concern and moral judgment, as well as beauty and the emotional experience associated with it. Outside of research, I enjoy looking for the best sorts of beer and food in Brunswick and Fitzroy, hanging out in art galleries, doing environmental activism, and reading.
