My PhD project (and much of my other work) is broadly focused on the topic of morality. In particular, my PhD project entails evaluating existing measurements of moral values, developing new methodological tools to study moral judgement, and examining how the brain represents different moral concepts using fMRI. Outside of my PhD work, I am currently (or have previously been) involved in research projects on a wide range of topics including emotion, financial decision making, belief in free will, laypeople's perceptions of artificial intelligence, and the application of natural language processing methods to various kinds of psychological research.
