For Student Applicants

The Reference Request System allows applicants for Australian postgraduate programs in Psychology to apply for a reference from academic and/or professional referees in three simple steps:

  1. You (the student) nominate referees, and indicate the programs and institutions being applied to.
  2. The Referee (nominated by you the student) completes a reference online.
  3. You (the student) then allow the completed reference to be shared with the programs you have applied to.

The objective of this system is to give you control, visibility and tracking over the references made by your referees. Once your referee has submitted a reference, you will receive a notification via email and be prompted to share this reference with the institution(s) of your desired future study program. Note that the reference is confidential, which means that you will not be able to view the content of the reference.

If you do not yet have an account then you will need to register one in order to access the system.

Please note: This system is the same across all Australian Universities. To be able to use the system, you will need to have an active subscription. The subscription is valid for 1 year between 1st August till 30th of July the following year. The fee is $25.00 and can be paid for through the "My Account" section in the payment tab.

For Referees

Referees complete a single reference for each student online. Referees will receive a secure link via email to create an account once they have been nominated by a student.
