New preprint: A late EEG component is time-locked to decision in recognition memory

Huge congratulations to Jie Sun who led the project as part of his PhD. He wrangled the enormous EEG dataset and made sense of the complex patterns in the data. A huge thanks to the Kahana Lab and colleagues for collecting and curating a large, high-quality set of EEG data!

Using a huge EEG dataset and ERP deconvolution techniques, Jie Sun, Daniel, Adam et al. separated and quantified effects on ERP waveforms that are time-locked to the stimulus, as well as those time-locked to the recognition memory decision and motor response. They found a parietal ERP correlate of confidence in recognition memory tasks that occurs just before the decision.
