Professor Sarah Wilson named Co-CEO of Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing

Professor Sarah Wilson has been named as a co-CEO for the new Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing, taking up a lead portfolio in research. She’ll be joined by fellow co-CEO Carolyn Gillespie, who will lead the lived experience portfolio.

Established in response to the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, the groundbreaking centre unites researchers, healthcare professionals and individuals with lived experience to drive mental health reform.

“We’re looking at the system through a fresh lens. We want reform that leads to better care and collaboration, so there’s no more patchwork service delivery or cracks in the system,” Professor Wilson said.

With over 30 years of experience, Professor Sarah Wilson is an expert in Clinical Neuropsychology and a leading international researcher in mental health. Her background in leadership roles and commitment to research translation embedded in co-design will make her a valuable addition to the centre.
