Ben Harrison

Professor Ben Harrison is responsible for leading the ultrahighfield human neuroimaging projects of the CRE.

Prof Harrison (PhD) is Deputy Head of the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Melbourne and Deputy Scientific Director of Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre. He is a research psychologist and neuroscientist who has specialised in the study of mood and anxiety disorders with advanced brain imaging techniques, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Prof Harrison has contributed a substantial and cohesive body of research in the fields of biological psychiatry and cognitive neuroscience.
