Now on ABC Radio Big Ideas - MISRA October 10 World Mental Health Day Language and Stigma Event

😃 The Mental Ill-Health Stigma Researchers Australia (MISRA) team were thrilled to collaborate with the University of Melbourne to deliver our first major public event - a special MISRA #PsychTalks panel discussion on language and stigma to mark World Mental Health Day. If you missed out, fear not! The event was published by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Big Ideas program here:  https://www.abc.net.au/listen/programs/bigideas/mental-ill-health-and-the-power-of-words/105183874.

From the MISRA convening team, buckets of gratitude go to Nick Haslam, Nicola Reavley, Michelle Blanchard, Sandy Jeffs, and Fay Jackson, for driving such a thought provoking discussion. Thanks also to all who attended 🙏.

Thanks also to the University of Melbourne, Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, Melbourne School of Global and Population Health, and SANE's StigmaWatch program for their instrumental support of this event!
