Understanding the psychological impact of your menstrual cycle

Ready to take control of your cycle?

So many people feel like they’re at the mercy of their menstrual cycle – lacking the roadmap to effectively navigate their moments of melancholy and bursts of inspiration.

At the Evolution Lab, we believe knowledge is power – and that’s why we’ve developed a study to explore the impacts of the menstrual cycle on our psychology, health and wellbeing. We're so excited to help people understand themselves better, so they can own their experience and thrive!

  • What's in it for me?

By participating in this study, you’ll not only contribute to a body of knowledge that can help our society better understand women, you’ll also get a personalised report that provides:

Data visualisations and insights showing how you vary across the course of the month. Check out one of our feedback reports here.

A better understanding of you! Your mood patterns, self-esteem, personality and behaviour.

Endless possibilities! What you do with this knowledge is up to you.
Do you want to try planning those difficult conversations on your empowered, assertive days? Or maybe schedule in an afternoon of self-care for that week where you’re likely to feel a little flat!

  • What do I need to do?

To join the movement, all you need to do is:

Fill in a short pre-screening survey and let us know your email address. It’s that simple. We’ll then send you an email to help you get started.

Answer a short daily survey - let us know how you felt!
A survey will drop into your inbox daily for 30 days. It’ll ask how you’re feeling, and will only take around 5 minutes to fill in. Think of this as a mindful moment to reflect on where you’re at on a given day. We also know life can get crazy, so we’ve designed the survey so you can answer as many or as few of them as you’d like!
