Neurodevelopment in Context Lab

Research Overview

The Neurodevelopment in Context Lab, led by Dr Sarah Knight, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with neurodevelopmental conditions and their families through interdisciplinary collaboration and lived experience partnerships. We use co-production and implementation science methodologies to develop, implement and evaluate innovative, interdisciplinary rehabilitation approaches, programs and pathways. Central to our mission is a commitment to inclusive participatory research methods, actively partnering with young people, families and clinicians to drive meaningful change across different developmental stages, systems and services.

Staff and students in the Neurodevelopment in Context lab use innovative approaches like film and digital resources to translate complex neuropsychological research into accessible and engaging tools for children, families, educators and the broader community. See this in action through current Master of Clinical Neuropsychology/PhD candidate Marnie Drake's work.
