Code + Data

We strive to make our code, data and resources openly-available wherever possible.

Below we have listed some openly-accessible repositories associated with our recent publications. For a full list of repositories associated with our lab members’ research projects see Daniel’s Open Science Framework page.

The Decision Decoding ToolBOX (DDTBOX)

In partnership with A/Prof Stefan Bode and the Decision Neuroscience Lab, we have co-developed the Decision Decoding ToolBOX (DDTBOX) for performing multivariate pattern analyses on electrophysiological data. This toolbox is freely available from the project Github page. We have also created an extensive set of documentation and some hands-on tutorials, hosted on the DDTBOX wiki.

Workshops on EEG data acquisition, processing and analysis techniques

We have developed a series of lectures and tutorials focused on EEG data acquisition and a range of EEG data analyses, including ERP, time-frequency, connectivity, SSVEP, and MVPA analyses. These materials are co-developed with Dr. Patrick Cooper, A/Prof Stefan Bode and Dr. Hinze Hogendoorn. Staff and students within the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences can access the content here.

Tracking dynamic adjustments to decision making and performance monitoring processes in conflict tasks.

This repository contains task performance and EEG data collected during a modified flanker task, whereby participants responded to gratings that contrast-reversed at a rapid rate. The dataset includes epoched EEG data that can be used for ERP, time-frequency and SSVEP analyses. Code used for running the experiment and analysing the data is also included. (link to dataset)

Visual mismatch responses index surprise signalling but not expectation suppression

This repository contains task performance and EEG data collected during a Fast Periodic Visual Stimulation (FPVS) Face Identity Oddball task. The dataset includes epoched EEG data and measures of oddball-evoked ERPs. Code used for running the experiment and analysing the data is also included. (link to dataset)

Decoding personality trait measures from resting EEG: An exploratory report

This repository contains EEG data collected during eyes open and eyes closed resting periods, as well as Fourier-transformed spectral data. Code for running multivariate pattern analyses on the distributed spatial patterns of spectral power data is also provided. (link to dataset)
