Radio for wellbeing research

We are exploring how music programming on radio impacts the lives of older listeners across Australia.

Music is proven to positively influence moods and behaviours* and benefit psychological well-being**.  This research project will explore how the daily lives of individuals can be enhanced through music played on radio.  Ultimately, this research will explore how radio listening habits relate to older listeners’ sense of well-being.

Researcher Dr Amanda Krause is seeking members of the community to get involved.
