Dr Chris McCaw recognised for excellence in teaching innovation

Congratulations to Contemplative Studies Centre Education Lead, Dr Chris McCaw and colleagues, Dr Mahtab Janfada, Dr Mobina Sahraee Juybari, Sue Salamito and Dr Anneliese Gill on receiving an Award for Teaching Innovation from the Faculty of Education!

This award recognises academic staff whose innovative teaching approaches enhance student engagement, enrich learning experiences and demonstrate excellence in contemporary educational practice.

Chris’ team implemented contemplative approaches in undergraduate and graduate subjects, including the Centre’s own undergraduate breadth subject, The Art and Science of Meditation.
