Introducing Kate Anderson

Meet Kate Anderson who joins us from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences for a one-year secondment as Manager, Engagement and Strategy.

In this role, she will drive community engagement and collaboration with colleagues and partners to produce activities that advance the Centre’s mission. She is looking forward to progressing the excellent work the Centre has been doing with public outreach, engagement programming and partnerships.

Having watched the Contemplative Studies Centre evolve since its launch, Kate is inspired by the potential of contemplative practices to enhance individual and collective wellbeing. Joining the Centre allows her to bring together her skills in communication, project management and community building to contribute to the Centre’s objectives.

Kate is passionate about identifying and understanding the target audience for engagement to drive effective strategies and meaningful experiences.

When she’s not at work, Kate enjoys hiking with friends, cooking anything Ottolenghi and a relatively new interest – bird watching. Please get in touch if you know any good bird watching groups!
