Queer possibilities: Can mindfulness foster queer self-affirmation?
In recent years, there has been a rapid surge in the number of meditation apps designed specifically for people who identify as genderqueer. These apps offer practices and strategies aimed at cultivating self-affirmation, resilience, and overall well-being. This research aims to analyse the concepts behind these apps and the techniques they use, exploring both the possibilities and limitations of their offerings in fostering queer self-affirmation.
