Cognitive Neuroscience Hub 2nd Annual Symposium – October 2025

The Cognitive Neuroscience Hub’s second annual symposium brought together researchers from across Australia to share cutting-edge work on the brain and behaviour.

This year’s program featured talks exploring self and mental health, decision-making, and brain recovery:

  • Dr Kelsey Perrykkad – Self-concept clarity and psychiatric traits
  • Dr Robin Cash – Next-generation personalised brain stimulation for depression
  • A/Prof Jacqueline Anderson – Neuropathology and recovery after concussion
  • Dr Dragan Rangelov – How uncertainty shapes changes of mind
  • A/Prof Natalia Brumley – Bayesian inference in empathy and pain perception
  • A/Prof Kate Hayward – Exercise and cognitive health after stroke
  • A/Prof James Coxon – Neural mechanisms of motor skill learning
  • Dr Daniel Bennett – Decision dynamics behind online betting
