Dr Karin Matko awarded early career prize

Congratulations to Dr Karin Matko, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Mindfulness and Mental Health, on receiving the Friends of Psychology Early Career Award from the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. This prize is awarded on a competitive selection basis to early career academics seeking funding to support research-related goals. Karin will travel to Leuven, Belgium in July to present findings from her World Meditation Study at the International Congress of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology.

Karin's research explores meditation practice, motivation and individual characteristics of meditators in different traditional and cultural contexts. Recruitment is underway - find out more about the study and get involved.
